EE Up - Partner Marketplace

Where EE has been a reputable mobile provider in the industry and generally first with releasing products and rolling out new technology, something they have been late on is a loyalty scheme for existing customers. With retention being one of the businesses key focus areas, introducing a loyalty scheme was a proposition put forward by the business.

This is where digital comes in, the project was going to be a new section within the My EE app, which was one of the tribes in my alliance. Straightaway this presented an opportunity to work collaboratively with the Marking team. To further understand the prop I set up an intro meeting with both departments. Meeting with the senior lead from marketing we understand the business requirements around an EE loyalty scheme. This is where I proposed the fantastic opportunity to run a design sprint to validate if this proposition would bring value to customers or if was a waste of time. Booking a 5 day sprint in one of Wembley stadiums meeting rooms, my team then got to work around prepping for the sprint.

The challenge here was to take on what 'Content Partners' were provisionally signed off by the propositions team and see how this could work in a user centric way, integrating different platforms into our own ecosystem, ultimately adding value to the end user.

I have created a detailed case study on how we took the product from Design Sprint to actual launch below.
